Biography

"It was 1952 in Arvada, Colorado, when George Dean Sr. opened Wadsworth Electric. He had a 1940 Buick, $50, and his hand tools. Wadsworth Electric grew from supplying appliances and wiring homes and businesses to the early days of automated traffic lights. George Dean Jr. brought the company, which became Wadsworth Control Systems, into the greenhouse industry. The first to design and build greenhouse automation products in the U.S., Wadsworth has remained family-owned and in Arvada."
