Biography

"Scott Dressel-Martin is an accomplished and passionate photographer, filmmaker, teacher and speaker. Scott has photographed from the wilderness of Alaska to the artist communities of Mexico, from the urban jungles of Singapore to the religious festivals of Spain and from the shores of the Caribbean to the mountain towns of Colorado. Scott has been the Official Photographer of the Denver Botanic Gardens for the past 19 years and also works with a large group of editorial, corporate and commercial clients throughout Colorado and the United States.

With a bachelor's degree in communication from Michigan State University and a master's degree in photography from the S.I. Newhouse School at Syracuse University, Scott has known he would be a photographer since he attended a summer photography camp at the age of 15. With 30-something years of scholarship and practice, Scott is an expert in the craft and technique of his art well enough to put his refined aesthetic sense to work on every shoot. He makes compelling images and emotionally impactful video that communicate his client's brand message or his personal interests in a graphically captivating way. He sees the world though photography and creates an idyllic version of it with his cameras. Scott's creative and technical expertise paired with his collaborative direction and a relentless drive to execute the best work from every opportunity, means his clients get what they want and Scott continually works to refine his art."
