Biographical / Historical
Incorporated in 1951, Denver Botanic Gardens began first at City Park, but was later moved to the York St. location. Additions to the Gardens include the purchase of the Botanic Gardens House, the care of Chatfield Farms (previously Chatfield Arboretum), Mount Goliath, and Plains Conservation Center.
