Bound Herbaria Collection
Scope and Contents
This collection contains historic bound herbaria. While most are bound in some kind of book or journal, some are in loose sheets or folders. Many of the herbaria are of plants and other specimens from Colorado and the Rocky Mountain Region, but some are from elsewhere.

Bound herbaria are bound collections of pressed plants. These specimens would have been collected for research purposes, noting location of collection, species of plant, and other information. The herbaria in this collection were donated to Denver botanic Gardens Research department and transferred to the Helen Fowler Library Archives.
