The collection contains copies of the completed thesis, documents related to the agreement with the Gardens, and all materials used in the research of the thesis. The collection also includes tape recorded interviews with long time DBG trustees, employees, and volunteers as well as biographies of several people important to the early history of Denver Botanic Gardens.

Custodial History
According to an agreement in 1993 between Denver Botanic Gardens and Judith Morley, her Masters Degree thesis in history at the University of Colorado Denver and the materials developed during the project would become the property of the Gardens. The contract specified a payment of $9,000 to Morley.
