Vera Evenson Papers

Vera Evenson began as a volunteer at Denver Botanic Gardens and gradually worked her way up to the title of head of the Sam Mitchel Herbarium of Fungi. Vera Evenson was greatly involved in making the Herbarium of Fungi what it is today, working closely with Sam Mitchel during the early years of Denver Botanic Gardens and the Sam Mitchel Herbarium of Fungi.
